In a departure from the past Eckerd's has offered us the use of a meeting room and lunch will be catered at the tour site!

The Eckerd's Distribution facility consists of 285,000 sq ft. with 400 employees. They serve 302 stores in South Texas and South Louisiana. Each day approximately 80 stores are shipped in 22 or 23 trailer loads. You will see a pick-to-light system, a sortation system for scanning ands orting totes, and a WMS for receiving, put aways and picking.

Directions to Eckerd's Distribution Center, 16597 I-45    Conroe, Texas :
Take I-45 North to the Hwy 242 exit. On the service road travel through the light for 4 blocks and the Eckerd's entrance is on the right.

Cost: $25 per person with reservation ; $30 per person without reservation **

Menu: Chicken parmesan, vegetables, salad, roll, dessert and Iced Tea
