11,000 pallet positions of pallet flow just purchased!
We have just made a great purchase of a "closed" 500,000 sq. foot distribution center in Memphis this week.
The equipment was purchased new in 2001 for over $15 Million. We are asking $150 per pallet position for this pallet flow conveyor. Replacement cost is approximately $300 per pallet.
Pallet flow conveyor is similar to pushback rack except that pallet flow is loaded in the rear and unloaded in the front. (pushback is loaded and unloaded in the front). Pallet flow is the most expensive type of racking sold due to the fact that there are brakes in the system which slows down the pallets to prevent them from gaining too much speed and falling off the racking system.
